Order and delivery terms

1. General

These booking and delivery terms apply to accommodation and experience services provided by PRO PoweriaPäivään Oy (hereinafter referred to as the service provider) in Finland. Booking and payment practices vary depending on whether the reservation is made through the company’s own website or through third-party booking platforms (e.g. Airbnb or Booking.com). By booking a service, the customer agrees to comply with these terms.

2. Booking

2.1 Booking channels

A customer may make a reservation through the following channels:

– The company’s own website
– Airbnb (www.airbnb.com)
– Booking.com (www.booking.com)
– By email or phone

2.2 Booking confirmation

A booking is considered binding when:

– the customer has received a written booking confirmation (email is sufficient), or
– the booking has been confirmed and paid through the chosen booking platform.

3. Payment terms

 3.1 Payment methods

Payment is made:

– according to the terms of the booking platforms (Airbnb or Booking.com), or
– by invoice (if the booking is made directly through the company)

When paying by invoice, the payment term is 7 days net, unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Payment schedule

– The service must be paid for in full in advance.
– Invoicing occurs at the time of booking or no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
– If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be canceled without separate notice.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Direct bookings

–Cancellation 30 days or more before arrival: no cancellation fee
–Cancellation 14–29 days before arrival: 50% of the booking price will be charged
–Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the booking price will be charged

4.2 Airbnb / Booking.com reservations

–In these cases, the cancellation terms of the respective service apply and are visible at the time of booking.

5. Customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or experience property. Any damages will be invoiced separately based on the actual costs incurred.

6. Service provider responsibility

The service provider is not responsible for delays or damages caused by force majeure, such as natural phenomena, official regulations, or other exceptional circumstances.

7. Prices

The prices of the services include VAT and are listed on the website or booking platforms. The service provider reserves the right to make changes to prices and terms

8. Disputes

Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the disputes will be handled in the District Court of Lapland (Lapin käräjäoikeus).
